I am informed that on about 27 December, the Victorian Wader Study Group caught, banded and tagged, (orange leg flag), a Little Stint at the Western Treatment Plant at Werribee. It was in non-breeding plumage so will take some picking out among the numerous Red-necked Stints. It is suggested that the best place to look would be at the Austin Road Lagoons at high tide.
