The Clancy Auditorium is located on upper campus of UNSW next to the
Chancellery
Building. It is the largest theatre on campus with a seating capacity of 960 plus ancillary
support spaces and services.
The Clancy Auditorium is the centrepiece of the university's conference facilities. The
Auditorium is used for lectures throughout the year as well as for regular graduation ceremonies,
performances by the Australia Ensemble and other important functions. As well as being available
for university organised conferences and seminars, the Auditorium is available to the wider
community and is a popular venue for many of the local school speech nights.
