Thanks Neil for the directions. I finally got around to having a look for
the Painted Snipes at the Onkaparinga wetlands near Noarlunga SA, spent most
of yesterday morning in & around the wetlands area (quite nice, hadn't been
there before) No Painteds however, though I flushed 6 Latham Snipes. Also
present were, among others, hundreds of Black-tailed Native-hens, aggressive
Black-winged Stilts with young chicks, a Greenshank, 5 Spotted Crakes, a
Golden-headed Cisticola and a Hobby.
