There is presently a juvenile Black-necked (Satin) Stork at the Port of Brisbane. It has unfortunately picked up a rubber ring which has effectively locked its bill closed. It apparently can drink but is unlikely to be able to eat. It has been like this for over 12 days and the Pelican and Seabird Rescue Group is attempting to rescue it.
