Hi,

Raja and I spent a few days birding in the area: 26 Dec Hawkesbury Marsh and
Scheyville NP, 29 Dec Mt York, Mt Wilson and Capertee Valley, 30 Dec Capertee
Valley.
We saw a total of 132 species of birds including 15 species of honeyeaters and
11 species of parrots. However, we dipped on two target honeyeaters (Regent and
Black-chinned) and on a target parrot (Turquoise). We also did not find Gray
Currawong in the Blue Mtns and Speckled Warbler at Capertee.
We did see Gang-gang at Mt. Wilson (thanks to Tom Wilson and Evan Beaver for
the information) and Origma at Mt. York (thanks to Dave Torr for the
information) and again one at Capertee Valley. For a detailed list of birds
plus mammals, reptiles and butterflies see below.

Happy New Year,

Nikolas & Raja
