ENGG1000 Mentor

Position Description:

- Conduct mentoring sessions
- Guide students in the planning process
- Mark attendance
- Prepare students for, and judge team presentations
- Judge teams final design
- Be available for consultation
Duration: 13 weeks
- Week 1 - 3 hours
- Week 2 to 12 - 1 hour per week
- Week 2 to 12 - 1 hour of judging approx week 9
- Week 13 - 3 hours
Timing: Monday 4pm to 5pm or Thursday 4pm to 5pm

Position Type: Undergraduate Students Postgraduate Students

Selection Criteria: Requirements:
- Suit final year undergraduate or post graduate student
- Preference to those having completed ENGG1000, or mentored ENGG1000
- No technical or computing skills required
- Fluent English, and good communication skills
- Good report writing skills
- Good interpersonal skills and coaching abilities
- Attention to detail
