Sir Tim Berners-Lee, the inventor of the World Wide Web, is coming to Australia for the first time in over a decade. In his five city tour, he will be make a special visit to UNSW. Professor Ross Harley, the Head of COFA's School of Media Arts, will host a one-on-one dialogue with Tim at the Ritchie Theatre (UNSW Kensington Campus) on the innovations emerging from new research at the intersection of web science, engineering, creative arts and design.
There are 166 tickets to the theatre dialogue available on a first-come-first serve basis through EventBrite. To secure a seat in the house, you simply need to register online through this site for your free ticket.
If you miss out on tickets to the live event, the conversation will also be available via a private Google Hangout. Details for how to participate in the Hangout will be available shortly.
