Description: |
Scratchpad memory (SPM) is a better choice than cache for embedded systems as it consumes less power and makes program behaviour predictable. Nevertheless, a SPM manager is needed to transfer the data and code of a program into SPM dynamically or statically. In this project, you will design a SPM manager for real-time embedded systems. The objective of the SPM manager is to dynamically transfer the data of a single thread into the SPM such that the worst-case execution time of the thread is minimised. | |
