Description: |
The goal of this project is to develop an integrated, web-based viewer that allows biologists to visualise the relationships predicted from microarray data together with other attributes of the genes, to evaluate predicted gene relationships and explore the microarray data. Several students have now worked on this application called MINER (Microarray Interactive Network Exploration and Representation) that integrates web technologies, microarray data mining and machine learning, integration of multiple biological annotation sources, and human-computer interaction principles. Comments: |
In its current state, this project requires good web programming and database skills. Several students have worked on this project in previous years and their contributions need to be brought together into a working website that incorporates the various developments | |
