Description: |
The task of allocating lecturers and tutors to the large number of classes that CSE runs each year is very time-consuming. The first problem is finding a set of suitable candidates for each class (taking into account their expertise and availability). The next problem is taking all of these candidate sets and determining an "optimal" (or at least workable) allocation of people to classes, ensuring that constraints such as "Not teaching more than 4 hours in a row" are satisfied. | |
