Description: |
WebCMS has existed for a decade as a large-screen web application. The interface works plausibly well on screens as small as 10in (e.g. iPad), but does not "scale down" to smaller screen sizes. The aim of this project is to develop an interface to WebCMS that works well on screens of typical modern smartphones (e.g. iPhone or Android). There are two possible implementation strategies for this: build a dedicated application that runs on the phone, or use a mobile-friendly style framework such as iWebKit. The choice is up to you.
Comments: |
I expect a prototype interface to be completed in time to be included in your S1 report, preferably in time to be demonstrated at the S1 presentation.
