Description: |
WebCMS was originally developed in 2002 ... and it shows. Maybe not at the user-interface level, which has admirable simplicity, but internally it has an architecture which does not follow modern engineering practices for Web applications. The aim of this project is to rebuild WebCMS from the ground up to make it more modular, more extensible, with a slightly updated interface. Other important aspects of the project are to ensure that it is easy to layer different kinds of interface (e.g. mobile) onto the system and that it contains a richer set of web-services (which can be used outside the main WebCMS interface) than it presently supports. | |
