Description: |
I'm looking for students to participate in a long-term project which is constructing software to allow animals to be monitored by their calls. The software processes a stream of sound from a natural environment, isolating and categorizing the sounds present from animals such birds, frogs, bats. The results are presented in form suitable for users such as biologists, wildlife managers and conservation groups. |
