Description:
WebCMS is a course management system developed in CSE, UNSW. It has been used by many courses at CSE.

mContext is a mobile learning system that was developed at NICTA.
mContext has numerous implications for the Federal Government's Digital Education Revolution hardware rollout plans as the tool will allow large volumes of data such as textbooks to be stored and used on mobile devices at school and at home. mContext also removes the need for mobile devices to be constantly connected to the Internet as data is stored locally and changes are updated whenever the mobile device synchronises with the server.

Further information of mContext can be found at:
http://www.cli.nsw.edu.au/partner_with_us/mcontext.htm

This project is to apply the concept of mContext and extend WebCMS accordingly. The final outcome will be a mobile WebCMS with similar capabilities as demonstrated by mContext.

Further information can be obtained by contacting the supervisor directly.
