Description: |
Distributed key-value stores (KVS) such as Cassandra, and HBase have become a standard component of high-performance web services and applications today. However, much work needs to be done in order to improve their efficiency on virtualization-based cloud platforms such as Amazon EC2. This topic aims to investigate and develop techniques for improving the flexibility and scalability of using cloud resources for hosting KVS instances. | |
