Description:
NICTA has various versions of Linux that run para-virtualised on various versions of micro-kernels developed here at NICTA. However, the connection between Linux and the platform is rather ad-hoc, which makes is difficult bring Linux into the principled componet framework (CAMKES) developed here at NICTA. This project would involve examining the interface between a virtual machine monitor and CAMKES to allow Linux to be just another component in the CAMKES framework.
