Description:
This project will investigate the design, implementation and performance analysis of a fault tolerant token ring network for recovering from radiation induced Single Event Upsets (SEUs) in reconfigurable hardware e.g. FPGAs. Fault tolerance as well as ways to increase the fault tolerance of the token ring network along with hardware overheads will be investigated and new solutions proposed. This work is part of UNSW QB50 CubeSat project and will run in collaboration with Dr O. Diessel from the School of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE).
