Description:
Bioprocess engineering involves modelling the growth of cells in a reactor that produce a product for industrial application (eg antibiotics, antibodies).

This project will combine laboratory generated data with reaction modelling to produce a generalised model of cell growth and product formation useful for industrial scale production of biologics.
