Description:
People are increasing concerned about their environment. However, government agencies can only provide coarse grain environment data on air quality by setting up monitoring stations at a limited number of places. In order to overcome this limitation, we propose to leverage the ubiquity of mobile phones to collect and share environmental information. In this project, you will build a sensor board which include air quality sensors and UV sensors. This sensor board will communicate its readings via bluetooth to a mobile phone. The phone will then send the information to a portal for sharing.

This project requires both hardware and software knowledge.
