Description:
Voltage Scaling is a technique for reducing the power consumption of a processor. In real-time embedded systems, the embedded software consists of a set of tasks with timing constraints such as release times and deadlines and possibly precedence constraints. The objective of the task scheduler is to find a schedule which satisfies all constraints and minimises the power consumption of processors.

In this project, you need to propose and implement an efficient heuristic for scheduling a set of tasks with precedence constraints, individual release times and deadlines on multiple processors such that the power consumption of multiple processors is significantly reduced. You also need to compare the performance of your heuristics with that of the existing ones by doing simulation.
