Description: |
Due to ever increasing desire for agility in companies, Web services are used in the implementation and integration of various systems in companies. Web services are programmatically accessible applications over the Web that simplify application development and integration. The wide adoption of Web services has given rise to the need to analyze Web services interactions and to understand the relationships between them in such an environment (we call it a process space). We have developed an approach for discovering such relationships (and their business process) in process spaces. In this project, we aim to build an AJAX-based GUI for this system (called Process Spaceship), so that end users can visually browse such relationships (various process views over the process space) and understand them. This project requires an interested and diligent student to join our friendly team comprising of a professor and senior researchers. Would you need more information, do not hesitate to contact Prof. Boualem Benatallah (boualem@cse) or Hamid Motahari (hamidm@cse). For more information on the project see http://www.cse.unsw.edu.au/~hamidm/projects/processspaceship. No prior knowledge of Web services is required but familiarity with AJAX or Eclipse platform is an advantage. | |
