Description: |
Web services are programmatically accessible applications over the Web and are emerging as the technology of choice for application development and integration. Academia and software industrial vendors such as IBM, Microsoft, Sun, Oracle, and BEA are investing heavily in R&D to enable Web services to realize their potential. This project centers around support of rich user interfaces for Web services. It consists of implementing part of a SOAP-based protocol for communicating user interface events and updates to web browser (in the AJAX style). This project is part of a framework that aims at providing a foundation for developing and consuming highly interactive web applications and services. User models are specified an XML-based declarative notations. Mapping between data exchange elements and user models is also specified using XML based notation. | |
