Help & Resources for Students

  • Student Office: Provides advice on all student related matters, including; admission, advanced standing, course selection, program structures, transfers, academic standing, graduations, weighted averages and downloadable forms.
  • Computer Support Group: Maintains and supports the CSE computing resources like computer labs, CSE accounts, printers, all the CSE servers, etc. If you need help with any of these undergraduates can contact Helpdesk, as for staff and postgraduates they can contact SS with all their inquiries.
  • Student & Business Development : Student & Business Development: Supporting current students within CSE; Reaching out to the general community and schools; Reaching out to industry. Services include: Mentoring programs; support of student societies; Diversity and Equity information and assistance; Scholarship and Prize information; student employment and co-ordination of the Industry Advisory Board.
  • CSE Student Representatives: The CSE student representatives are your contact with the School of Computer Science and Engineering. If you have any problems, such as problems with staff, difficulties with courses, or any complaints, please contact us.
  • OHS: Occupational health and safety for building K17 and areas controlled by CSE. The School has an OHS management system to ensure the welfare, health, and safety of staff, students, visitors and contractors. Local procedures and forms along with links to UNSW OHS information can be found here.
  • UNSW Student Services : Learning Services, Counselling, Careers & Employment, International Student Services
  • Systers: An informal organization for technical women in computing founded by Anita Borg. If you are a woman in the technical end of computing, you are welcome.
  • Grievance Officer: If you have a grievance that has to do with the School of Computer Science and Engineering, you can appeal to the School Grievance Officer.
