Articulation: Students can apply to articulate from the GradDip (5338) to the Masters of Engineering Science  (8538) provided they have a credit average (65WAM). Full credit will be granted.

Project Option:

Students are permitted to substitute one or two courses from their Engineering & Technical Management requirement in their final semester with a project of equal value provided they meet the following criteria:

  1. Must be in final semester; and
  2. Have obtained agreement from a CSE academic supervisor; and
  3. Have maintained a distinction level performance in the program.

Projects are graded, and students deliver a seminar and submit a written report. More information is available in the Course Outline. Students should seek agreement from a supervisor prior to submitting a Project Nomination form to the Postgraduate Coordinator.

 

Master of Engineering Science (extension)

A student must hold a Bachelor of Engineering from UNSW with at least Honours 2/2 (or equivalent) in an appropriate discipline with a strong computing background;

or an equivalent qualification from another recognised university or tertiary institution in order to be admitted to the program;

or completion of Master of Engineering Science (COMPAS8538)

Articulation: Students can apply to articulate from the Master of Engineering Science (8538) to the Masters of Engineering Science Extension (8539) provided they have a credit average (65WAM). Full credit will be granted.
