4. IMPLEMENTATION

The fourth element of the University OHSMS is Implementation.

This element includes:

4.1 The OHS Risk Management Program

The OHS Risk Management Program includes:

  • Completed Risk Assessments;
  • Templates for completing Risk Assessments;
  • The CSE Hazard and Risk Regster;
  • Information on HOW to report a hazard and/or incident;
  • The CSE Corrective Actions Register;
  • Safe Working Procedures; and
  • Templates for completing Safe Work Procedures


4.2 Document and Record Management

Every OHS document or record that is kept within the School can be found on this Register. It will regularly be updated.


4.3 OHS Training

OHS training includes:

  • An CSE Training Needs Analysis 2007 that identifies what training you are required to complete;
  • The 2007 CSE Training Plan for internal training being provided; and
  • The CSE Training Register which is a complete record of all training completed.

4.4.2 Ergonomics

4.4.2A CSE Ergonomic Information

Given the nature of the CSE work environment, it is important that all staff and students are aware of ergonomic risks.

The Computer Use and Ergonomics course has been identified as a compulsory part of your role at CSE. Please refer to the 2007 Training Plan for scheduled training dates.

4.5 Emergency Preparedness and Response

This includes information on UNSW Emergency Procedures, Evacuation Drills and the UNSW First Aid Policy.
