To achieve this goal, everyone has a responsibility for ensuring that their actions do not adversely affect the health, safety and welfare of themselves or others. The university has laid out these goals in its OHS policy. The policy applies to all staff, students, visitors and contractors of UNSW.
Occupational Health and Safety Management System The University has in place an Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS). An OHSMS is a set of plans, actions and procedures to manage health and safety in the workplace. All staff, students, visitors and contractors within CSE are required to work within this OHSMS.
