Thesis Accounts

Students enrolled in any of the following courses are entitled to a named thesis account:

• COMP 4910
• COMP 4911
• SENG 4910
• SENG 4911
• BINF 4910
• BINF 4911
• BIOM 5920
• BIOM 5940
• BIOM 5909
• BIOM 5921
• BIOM 5941
• BIOM 5904

Creation of a thesis account will also allow you to include more information in your account details such as your thesis topic and supervisor's name. Your thesis account will generally remain valid until the start of the session following completion of thesis part B.

In order to obtain a thesis account, you will need to obtain a form from the Help Desk (or download the postscript file).

Once the form is completed and signed by your supervisor, return it to the Help Desk for processing. It will be processed for you while you wait.

As a member of a CSE thesis class, you will also be entitled to swipe-card and login access to our 24-hour banjo lab on the ground floor of the K17 building.

Things to note:

o This process assumes you are a CSE student with a supervisor from CSE.

o CSE students who have supervisors from external schools may need to have their forms escalated and processing time will be delayed.

o Non-CSE students who require access to the School's computers for thesis work (or otherwise) should refer to this page.
