Honours

Honours in the Bachelor of Engineering degree is awarded for consistent quality performance over the duration of the program. The CSE WAM is used to award honours, and the cut-off's are:
 

Honours Class 1 CSE WAM 75 or greater
Honours Class 2, Division 1 CSE WAM 70 or greater
Honours Class 2, Division 2 CSE WAM 65 or greater
Pass Degree CSE WAM < 65

The University Medal may be recommended for a student where;

  1. the student's CSE WAM is greater than 85, and
  2. the student has achieved the highest CSE WAM for their cohort, and
  3. the student's performance is comparable with previous awards of the University Medal for CSE.
