Examination Information for Academics

Entering Exam Information into myUNSW s2, 2009

Full instructions on how to enter information into myUNSW can be found here. The first step - Term Planning, has already been done.

The following is a quick guide to the information required in myUNSW:

  • No Exam - send an email with course code/s to Nickp AT cse . unsw . edu . au
  • Centrally Managed Exams (Formal Exam) - Complete all sections
  • School Exam Centrally T/Tabled (Internal Exam) - Complete first section only

Important Notes on changes:

  • There is a very short time frame this semester and we are unlikely to get extensions to the deadlines.
  • If you are not likely to have your paper ready for the deadline you should consider an internal exam (School exam centrally T/table). This means the exam section will schedule the exam but you will be responsible for organising the exam paper, exam room and exam supervision.
  • From this year, exams will be timetabled in three slots per day (one in the morning and two in the afternoon); there will also be exams timetabled on Saturdays
  • All staff involved in final exams for a course (convener, reviewer and referee) will be sent an email once information is entered in myUNSW. The email will be sent to your UNSW email address (not CSE).

Important dates to add to your calendar:

Tue 1 September - Deadline for submitting your exam details via myUNSW.

Tue 1 September  - Deadline for special timetabling request via myUNSW.
