TRANSFER: RESEARCH MASTERS ME/MSc to PhD
Students that are enrolled in a Masters by Research can be upgraded to a PhD. An upgrade will be approved under the following conditions:

- the student achieves excellent grades (preferably at least a DN) in prescribed courses. Note that all research students should complete 3 courses, preferably at least one per semester, starting in the first semester of enrolment.
- the student writes a new research proposal and presents a seminar. The review panel of 3 should be informed prior to the seminar that it is an upgrade review.
