UNSW/CSIRO Research Scholarship
Applications are open for CSIRO funded research scholarships within the Schools of Computer
Science and Engineering and Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications. Local students
undertaking full-time PhD research in the area of information and communication technology (ICT)
are eligible to apply. It is expected that applicants for this scholarship will have applied or
have been awarded an Australian Postgraduate Award (APA) or equivalent. Successful applicants will
be required to work closely with the CSIRO on a project that falls within one of their specified
research areas. A stipend of $7,000 (tax free) per annum for up to 3 years with the possibility of
a 6 month extension
