Important Information:

From 2009 there are two Thesis Part A and B codes in use for Computer Engineers:

COMP4910 (3uc) and COMP4911 (15uc)
(for all CompEng students who are in the pre-2006 program, and all CompSci Honours students)

and

COMP4930 (6uc) and COMP4931 (6uc)
(for all CompEng students who commenced the program in 2006. Ie. they are required to complete COMP3601 as part of their program.

Please ensure that you are enrolled in the correct course codes, check if you are unsure or you could complete degree requirements without enough units of credit to graduate.

Undergraduate Thesis Part A Lecture

Each semester there will be a lecture to help you get started on your thesis project. The lecture will cover such topics as: how to get started, researching the topic, developing ideas, evaluating research, presenting results, preparing a presentation, writing the thesis, relationship with supervisor, administrative requirements, etc.
