Students are required to demonstrate their work to their supervisor and assessor and other staff/students interested in the work in Week 10

Reasons for doing a demonstration:

• Chance to receive feedback before completing write-up of the thesis
• Impress supervisor/assessor before they read and mark the thesis
• Allow supervisor to identify excellent theses, which will be demonstrated in Thesis Showcase in Week 12
• In particular, the assessor gets an opportunity to better understand the research
• Gain experience with demonstration
