Footnote: Some subjects prefer not to attempt the reverse transfer, reasoning that the process that they have just undergone has fitted them for a lucrative and powerful career, and they proceed to immediately abandon their studies and enter politics. We recommend against this course of action (except in the case of students past the date for withdrawal without financial penalty, in the final semester of their program). Not only does it result in a loss of HECS/fee income to the University, but in the long run it must result in the political system being overrun.
