Some Sydney University Mountaineering Club People 1971-75

In this period, due it is said to a feud between the heads of the men's and women's sports unions, it was found necessary for funding reasons to start a separate club for women - Sydney University Women's Mountaineering, Orienteering and Canoeing Club. In reality, of course, there was a single group of active participants. There was also a substantial membership overlap with SUBW (Sydney Uni BushWalkers), and indeed with SUSS (Sydney Uni Speleological Society).

If I've got it wrong / You've more to tell / You don't want to be listed / you've (more) details about somebody (else), etc., let me know - by e-mail, physical mail or phone - contact details below.
