We are looking for a number of student volunteers to help with the Robocup Junior NSW State Finals, to be held in the Roundhouse on August 9-10, 2007.
Robocup Junior is a technology-based competition requiring primary and secondary school students to design, build and program robots in one of three categories: soccer, dance or rescue.
Volunteers are particularly needed to act as referees for
the soccer competition. Rules and training will be provided.
(There will, unfortunately, be no remuneration for volunteering
- although lunch will be provided, and hopefully T-shirts and caps).
Note: individual volunteers would not necessarily have to attend both days.
There will be an information session for soccer referees at 3:30pm on Tuesday 31 July, in the CSE Level 1 Meeting Room (K17-113).
If you would like to get involved in this exciting event,
please come along to the training session,
or send an email to
blair"at"cse.unsw.edu.au
to register your interest.
