Operations on Atoms and Strings

The ISO Prolog standard allows for a number of different ways of handling character strings. The current version of iProlog makes no distinction between atoms and character strings.

The following built-in predicates are defined for manipulating the names of atoms:

• atom_length
• atom_concat
• sub_atom
• char_code
• atom_chars
• number_chars
