Waleed Kadous developed an algorithm for supervised learning to classify multivariate time series. It algorithm was implemented as a program called TClass. TClass has been demonstrated on ECG data and on learning to recognise signs in sign language based on dat collected from data gloves. Waleed is a senior research fellow with the ARC Centre of Excellence for Autonomous Systems.
