In many concept learning problems, the target concept may change over time. Often this is due to some hidden variable, not available to the learner. Michael Harries conducted research into the problem of identifying the hidden context variable. Of particular interest was when a context recurs so that a previously learned concept can be reused. Michael now works for Cytrix.
