You can ftp to the aibo eg:

(naturally, substitute the ip address you configured with [wiki:spip spip] or otherwise )

For a default checkout from the rUNSWift repository:?BR
 * the username is: a?BR
 * the password is: a

the password is configured in:?BR
{{{robot/cfg/PASSWD}}}

If you're not using the SRC FTP client, you need to download BFL from the dog in binary mode, not ASCII. Photo's downloaded ASCII will appear corrupt, possibly as a solid colour or with distorted image fragments.
