Textbook(s)
There is no official textbook for this subject since no book covers
the entire subject content. If you want to
buy one and only one book you could consider Applied Cryptography
by Schneier (top of the list below).
Otherwise there are a range of books you could look at for the
various parts of the subject. I'll post references after each lecture.
