What to do if COMP3441 is full

We have a strict quota on enrollments in this subject and we won't accept over-enrolments.

We expect some students may drop out of the subject before session 2 starts. So there is some chance you may be able to get into the subject eventually. You should keep trying to enrol via nss from time to time to see if you are allowed in.

Additionally we are keeping a waitlist. We will look at this shortly before session starts and fill any gaps with students from the list in the order they applied. To join this waitlist mail cs3441.waitlist asking to be added. You will get no autoreply - we are not that sophisticated, but we'll look over all these mails in arrival order just before session 2 starts.

Note that just because you are on the waitlist doesn't mean you'll get a space if one appears. If a student disenrolls and leaves a gap in the nss database then the first student to notice it will be able to enrol online. Sorry - that's just how nss works.
