Condition code format:

ec: error code: ec $\neq 0$ ==> IPC failed
consult the manual for the meaning of error codes
frequent reason: Cut message -- receiver's buffer was too small, not enough strings, etc.
Note: this value is also delivered as the return value of the call when using the C library interface
m: map bit: $m=1$ ==> fpages were received
