Bootstrap (MIPS Specific)

Boot image: dit

On boot:

  1. Load image into RAM.
  2. L4 bootstrap starts \(\sigma_0\) as first task (in kernel mode).
  3. \(\sigma_0\) starts all initial servers (as user tasks)
registering as their pager, exception handler (and chief).
Initial servers are marked as such in boot image
set up by DIT (``downloadable image tool'').
