Sporadic (Non-Periodic) Processes

Use minimum (or average) inter-arrival interval for \(T_i\).
  • Generally \(D_i \ll T_i\) for these.
  • \(T_i\) may be irrelevant.
  • Use \(D_i\) rather than \(T_i\) for priority assignment:
    • Deadline-monotonic priority ordering (DMPO).
