Project Code Submission Guidelines
Here are the instructions for the final submission of your code. This
submission will be the one used for testing your SOS.
You need to submit all source files (Makefile, .c, .h, (.S)) used
to build your OS.
Your Makefile should be written so that you only load the network
driver and your OS into the DIT image. That is, your DIT image should
look like the following in this exact order:
serial, network, OS
We will append our test programs to the kernel produced by your Makefile.
Your OS needs to have all debugging statements removed and should start
up the first executable after the OS (which we provide).
NOTE: after following the last two instructions your OS will no longer
work until we append our test programs to it. Therefore, finish all your
testing before packaging for final submission.
Our testing programs will hook to your client interface by linking
to the two files crt0.o and sos.o. These are the ONLY
two client side files that we will link in.
