I'm not sure whether this is a lager or an ale, but I do know that it makes use of Golding hops which are a traditional British ale hop. As light beers go, it's actually quite strong (3.3%), and Grand Ridge Brewery promote it as "a real alternative in light beers". It's available in selected bottle shops in Melbourne.
