Fascinating place, the Tower of London. Has the obvious attraction of the Crown Jewels, accessed through thick vault doors and viewed from a moving walkway, but also has a long and brutal/gruesome history. The complex was originally built for the king to intimidate the citizens of London, and contains multiple structures (towers) added over the following 400 years, used either as a residence of the monarch or for incarceration of people who had annoyed said monarch.
War machine ... located in what once was the bottom of the moat
Roof detail at entrance of Bloody Tower
Lampshade in blue
The "village" green ... where they removed heads
Wall detail, White Tower
Wardrobe Tower ... but I'm sure it wasn't used for that
Chapel in the White Tower
Even the Loos have a "Ye Olde" feel
