The Victoria and Albert Museum has one of the most amazing collections of precious (and sometimes bizarre) objects on the planet. It would take days to get a decent look at the entire collection. And the building itself is equally amazing, almost a work of art in its own right. Even better, admission is free and you're allowed to take (non-flash) photos.
