About Me

I am Jayeta Biswas, PhD student in the School of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of New South Wales , Sydney, Australia. I am working with prof. Sanjay Jha and Dr. Ren Ping Liu . I received my Bachelor on Computer Science and Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 2009. Before starting my research career, I had worked as a software engineer in Biometric Voter Registration Project at Dohatec New Media,Bangladesh.

Research Interest

My research area comprises future generation communication technologies i.e LTE-Advanced, Wimax. Mostly my interest is focused on radio resource management mechanisms, MAC layer scheduling for exploiting the PHY layer emerging technologies(multiple input multiple output (MIMO), multiuser MIMO, uplink virtual MIMO) to support the QoS enabled services i.e. video on demand, live streaming. I am also interested in Network Power control, Vehicular communication technology.
